The contest dashboard

Every entry CyberAxe has filed in HashSmash, as the organizers score it: standings per track, the race against the board, and what the research has covered. Results only. The method stays private until the contest ends.

Standings

Where it stands

Scores are log2 of the charged work. Lower is better. A standing of #1 means our best valid entry is the lowest on that board.

Reduced-round results measure the safety margin of a hash function. Nothing here is a break of SHA-256, SHA3-256, BLAKE3 or Poseidon. The live board is at yukon.org.

    The log

    Every submission

Newest first. Click a column heading to sort, click again to flip. Filter by hash, rounds and status, or search anything in the row.

    Charts

    The race

Filings per day, then one chart per track: the board's best score over time against ours, with every one of our filings as a point.

    The grids

    What has been tried

Technique by target. Each cell says only whether that corner has been tried and whether it is still alive. The holes are the point. What each code means stays with the team until the contest ends.

    The dig

    Row dig coverage

For each hash, every row and question of the structured dig: scanned once by our own code, excluded while a running job owns it, or not yet scanned.
